Dr. Chisnall is excited to be in his new role as principal of Hawley MS. Dr. C has been a traditional public school and charter school principal and school leader in NC since 2005. Most recently he spent a year in Colorado. He looks forward to supporting Hawley's staff, families and students and nurturing our International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program in 2022-23. Dr. C believes in taking every step to promote academic excellence while ensuring staff are supported, families receive regular and relevant communication, and students get a well rounded education with ample extra-curricular opportunities (athletics, clubs, field-trips, etc). Dr. C is a Tar Heel having earned his doctorate at UNC-Chapel Hill, has published as a co-author on middle grades education, and again he is very excited to join the Hornet family!
