Elective & Support Staff

I am Ms. Caldwell, the Director of Bands and music teacher at G.C. Hawley Middle School. This is my official 3rd year at G.C. Hawley and I am so excited to be returning to provide a comprehensive music education for all students. I am originally from the Outer Banks of North Carolina and went to college at Western Carolina University where I received a Bachelors of Science in Music Education and a Bachelors of Arts in Music. I assist with the South Granville High School marching band and assisted with coaching track at Hawley this past season. I am enthusiastic about teaching your students for yet another year in music and band and I cannot wait to see exactly how far we go this year as we continue to grow together!

Animals and agriculture has always been my passion so that is why I have my bachelor's degree from NC State in animal science. Then, I completed my student teaching in a high school in Guilford county. This will be my 3rd year at Hawley Middle School as the agriculture elective teacher. I am looking forward to the year ahead and excited to meet new students!

¡Hola a todos! I am Ms. Beltrán López, I come from a beautiful country in South America, Colombia. I have two last names, it can be a bit strange, however, it is common to use this in Spanish-speaking countries. I am known as Ms. López at Hawley, so you can feel comfortable using the way you prefer. I love reading, swimming, shopping, going to Church or just staying at home. This is going to be my 4th year teaching Spanish in all grades and I am so glad and blessed to be part of this wonderful school and community. I know that learning a second language can be a big challenge, but I am also sure that my students at Hawley will do it very well this year. Hope see you soon!!!!

I went to Leesville Road High School then completed my Bachelors at The Citadel Military College of South Carolina. I am currently enrolled at NC A&T for my Masters. I love watching and playing basketball, attending and performing at open mics, and expressing myself through my God-given creativity.

I’ve been married 44 years in Aug,have two daughter's six grandkids and this is my fourteenth year with Hawley

My name is Auburn Robinson. I have taught in NC for the last 28 years. I have a doctorate in teacher leadership with a specialization in special education. I enjoy teaching and watching my students grow academically. As a blended family, my husband and I have 5 children. Four of our children have matriculated through GCS and our 1st grader attends a GCS as well.
